Kindness Spreads Hope

There are lots of small but powerful ways to make someone feel seen—giving a compliment, remembering their name, or leaving a little note. When we choose kindness, we lift up ourselves and others, especially on days that feel tough. Let’s find new ways to spread kindness more often—and to more people, too!

How do we change the world? One random act of kindness at a time.

— Morgan Freeman

Spreading Kindness, One Smile at a Time!

At Hernando High School in Florida, the Hope Squad hosted a special Kindness Week, spreading joy and positivity around campus in fun, creative ways.

One day, Squad Members were armed with bags of candy, handing out treats to students they spotted showing kindness. Another day, they helped students add uplifting notes to the Hope Tree, encouraging the whole school community to share thoughtful messages. And with special “kindness glasses,” students were invited to see the world through a lens of empathy and care.

It was a week full of small acts with big impact—reminding everyone that even little gestures can brighten someone’s day and that kindness can be contagious! 🌟

  • "Journal as frequently as possible for the desired effect. It's really simple to startit could be in a notebook, an actual journal, or even the notes app on your phone!"
